Portfolio Companies

We build solutions for real operational problems. Every company in our portfolio addresses a genuine pain point we've encountered firsthand.

Pre-Launch

SyncDeck

AI-first lightweight BI tool that syncs business data to presentations

Problem

Revenue operations teams spend hours manually updating presentations with the latest data from spreadsheets, CRMs, and analytics tools. Data gets stale, slides get out of sync, and critical meetings rely on outdated numbers. Traditional BI tools are too heavy and don't integrate with presentation workflows. Built a waitlist of 1,000+ users pre-launch.

The Story

Our team built SyncDeck to solve a real RevOps pain point we'd all experienced. After years of manually updating executive dashboards and board decks, we wanted a tool that could sync live data from Google Sheets, Excel, and CRM platforms directly into presentations with real-time updates. Add natural language querying and predictive analytics, and you have a lightweight BI tool that actually fits into how revenue teams work. Already attracted 1,000+ users to the waitlist before launch.

Lead generation and operational tooling for house flipping

Problem

Finding and qualifying property leads for house flipping requires piecing together data from multiple sources—mortgage records, property assessments, ownership information, and local market data. Converting that research into actionable leads with contact information is time-consuming and fragmented.

Key Features

Public-facing site for lead attraction, backend data ingestion from mortgage and home data providers, drive-by enrichment workflow (address input → contact/owner info → automated campaigns → CRM pipeline)

The Story

We joined NextNest as operational and product design partners for equity—bringing hands-on value in building the product and operationalizing the GTM function. We built a public site to attract sellers, a backend system that ingests data from mortgage and property data providers, and a workflow where you can input an address and get enriched owner contact info that feeds directly into automated marketing campaigns and a CRM pipeline. Cut their admin workload in half and increased their acquisition pipeline by 40%.

Consumer smart drip irrigation with 30-minute setup

Problem

Professional irrigation systems cost $5,000+ and require contractors. Most consumers settle for dumb timers or manual watering. There's a massive gap for affordable smart irrigation with the scheduling, weather integration, and automation features of professional systems—but DIY-friendly and consumer-priced.

The Story

We built AquaFlower from scratch as a consumer alternative to expensive professional irrigation systems. The product includes custom hardware, a full mobile app with smart scheduling, and cloud platform for weather-based automation. Setup takes 30 minutes instead of hiring contractors, costs a fraction of traditional systems, and delivers all the smart features—weather integration, zone control, remote access—that used to require $5K+ installations. Saw 125% month-over-month growth throughout the first 3 months post-launch.

Claira AI

Cash flow tracking for families making ends meet

Problem

Most budget apps talk about building 6-month emergency funds and long-term savings goals. But the average family isn't there yet—they're trying to make sure they can pay all their bills and buy groceries. There's a gap for a budget app focused on true daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow for people just trying to make ends meet, not aspirational savings advice. Market research showed 5,000+ interested users from a 15,000 sample.

The Story

Claira AI is in early development, but the problem is clear: most budget apps are built for people who already have financial cushion. They focus on optimizing investments and building emergency funds. We're building for the average family who needs to understand their true cash flow—can I pay rent this week? Do I have enough for groceries after bills? Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow visibility for real-world budgeting, not aspirational financial advice. Market validation showed 5,000+ interested users from a 15,000 sample—strong indication of product-market fit.

The Pattern

Every company in our portfolio started the same way: we encountered a real operational problem, couldn't find a good solution, and built one ourselves.

Some became products. Some stayed internal tools. Some are still experimental. But they all share a common thread—they're built by operators who understand the problem deeply because we've lived it.

That's the approach we bring to acquisition, too. We're not looking for companies to flip. We're looking for problems we can help solve with hands-on operational expertise.
